A question for you gurus on the site I need to know what offset in metric is 4", it is probally simple to figure out but I sure cant for the life of me find it thanks in advance mike.
Between your posts I realized you are not familiar with what you are asking and not giving us enough info. The 25mm negative offset means that the bolt face (back inside that goes against the hub) is not exactly in the center of the rim, it is about 1 inch towards the front. This means if you have a stock 6 inch rim with 0 offset the flange face is 3 inches from the back bead seat and 3 inches from the from bead seat (rims are not measured on the outside edges, they are measured where the tire seats against them). On a 25mm negative offset the same rim would have 4 inches from the flange face to the back bead seat and 2 inches to the front. This information is not enough to help you determine if the rim will actually fit on your car. The problem is you need to know what the rim width is so you can determine backspacing. You can use offset to determine backspace if you know the rim width (see my example above). In my example the 15 X 6 rim with 25mm negative offset would probably work (may look a bit odd) but if the rim was a 15 X 10 it may not work. Hope this helps, Hawkrod
