idle issue

seems to get stuck in drive, i have to constantly hit the gas pedal when i come to a stop to make the idle go to normal. otherwise it keeps driving without me hittle the acccelarot petal,. thanks for any replys.

check the choke linkage, it may be holding your throttle open a little.
while your in there check all of the linkage, spray it with a little carb cleaner, if it gets dirty it can be tempermental, and cause the symptoms your having
