Hello all -
I think the vent hose on my Dana 60 has been ripped - it seems a little short.
Does anyone know how long it's supposed to be and where it should be routed?

re: Rear axle vent hose routing
It needs to be long enough to reach up to the left frame rail, where it's clamped on, with just enough slack after the clamp to hang down so water won't enter the end of the hose, and enough slack between the vent and the clamp where it won't bind at full suspension travel.

That is a good length for normal operation, if a 4x4 or you launch boats you may want to make it longer and move it towards the cab. Nice smooth corners so as not restricted the flow.
