DANA 60

Post by mickster »

I did a search and didn't find anything specific saying there was no 1/2 ton dana's. But lots of 3/4 ton threads. Did I just answer my own question

International 5-lug D60s are the most common, but they are even a rarity. Ford used far less.

The only 5-lug semi-floater Dana 60s that I've personally heard about have been installed in '68 1/2-tons. I got mine from a fully-optioned '68 Ranger.

I've run across two in the last month, both in '67 100s. One was a Merc with a 360 and the other a base Ford with a 300 4spd (4.11 ratio). Also saw one in a '69 F100 at the wreckers a couple of years ago, before I realized what they were worth.
