I have a 1968 Ford F100 SWB Ranger with an automatic. What kind o transmission does it have? Where can I get a tranny dipstick and dipstick tube? Thanks!

You have a C6. Any truck with a C6 and an FE from the mid 60's through 76 will get you the right dipstick.

I appreciate the repies. Does anybody know where I can source a dipstick and tube from? All I can seem to find are these fancy-ish, aftermarket, mount on firewall types. Thanks guys.

well crap. I hope I can find a C6 that hasn't been snatched out of a truck. Not many usable yards in my area.
