torque converter interchange

will the torque coverter that i know is good that came out of a 71 with a 360, auto c6 tranny work with a 429 with a 429's auto c6?

we dont think the 429's converter is any good.

I know that the 429 C-6 T/C will work, but I'm not sure if the 360 T/C will work.

The converter don't know which engine is spinning it.
Check the hole in the back of both cranks, they both should be 1.375"

make sure that thing has fresh oil in it when it gets swapped. dont want any old oil in there.

Make sure the "button" (raise center part facing engine)on the torque converter is the same as other one, or that it will fit the hole in the crank.
