pros and cons of swapping out distributor

Thinking of swapping out my factory distributor with a electrontic version. Any recommendations on what type will preform best with my 240?

i would keep the stock distributor and use a Pertronix.

The Duraspark distributor is an easy switch.

But I agree with Convincor too, (I've got a Pertronix in my bump and the Ranchero as well and love them).

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!

Get the durospark out of a 300 and get a box (Durospark, MSD ect).
Side oiler FE, see if you can catch me!!!

1968 F100 Took the running 390 out, and installed a Built 300 with AOD.
