460 carbs

Just curious what carbs you guys are using on your big blocks and which you're finding best for mileage. I just picked up a 77 F150 s/c with a 460 on a very good deal, made it almost worth the pain that struck me in the hip pocket every time I had to stop to feed its' thirst on the five hundred miles home
This one's got the 4360 motorcraft carb on it and I once had a 79 Explorer F150 460 with a Holley.

I'm using a Edelbrock 750 cfm. I can get 12 mpg highway and 10 in city driving like a maniac.

I am using a Holley 1850 600cfm right now and like it. It seems to have a little better low end response than the 750 does. I haven't tried the 750 since I have put the headers on so it might be different now. The 750 will probably have better top end. I get around 13-14 if I drive it easy

my uncle has a 3/4 ton ford with a 460 and uses the 750 edelbrock and seems to really like it.
