Can someone tell me the difference in the 74 an older c6 and 75 newer?Iwent to get filter and they said it was different between those years. dont know what mine is. Any help is needed all I know is I have a c6.

C6â€™s made from '66 to '75 have pans that are 1â€

Thanks. I also bought one of the chrome trans pans off ebay will it fit either trans since its 2 wheel drive. THANKS AGAIN

Looks like the corners on the 77 up pan are also sloped or mitered.
Are you real sure on this? I need to find another valve body for mine as I don't like this shift kit at all.

As far as I know the trans case itself is the same, only the "Pan" shape/highth is different, which makes the filter different hight to match the pan...

Just get the filter for year pan it's for, or measure the hight and use the info Keith gave above.

Valve body should be the same for all, just the pan shape was made different...
