FE c6 to a 208 planetary from a married transfer case to a short driveshaft to my divorced 205 for a super low crawl ratio for pulling.....
can this be done by changing the output shaft setup...

You can swap a married 4x4 C-6 output and extension housing on any FE C-6. Married 4x4 FE C-6's are out there. 73-76 F-100 4x4's had them.

I don't think it'll work though. You'll have a 6" driveline and the front output of the 208 will be in the way of your front driveline.

You could just get a divorced 203 range box and mate it up to your divorced 205 by boring the case to big bearing size and running a 31 or 32 spline input.
All that work and you still have a divorced case, they're good, but not what I'd want for pulling use at all.

thanks for the info that helps alot. Im not looking for a mega puller, just something for fun with my work truck. its an automatic with 4.10s and it just dont get up into the powerband with this street type setup. it pulls ok though compared to the other local guys in my area. I dont pull Alot but the truck hasnt come in last place yet. its usually in the middle of the pack some where. thanks again.
