Find a donor truck, 78-79 get steering column, brake peddle assembly, all linkages, driveshaft,(or modify your driveshaft) flexplate,(be sure to get 50 oz flex plate if you have a 91 engine) trans cooler lines, radiator with trans cooler built in.
Be sure to get c6 for the correct engine family you have, i assume you have a 302, so if you want a c6 for it, it will need to be from 78 or later truck. You may need to relocte the cross member for the trans, just drill new holes. Your crossmember will work for the auto trans. If i left something out someone will correct me.

Hard to know which motor you have but I'm guessing a 5.0 (302) if it's from a '91 Lincoln. If the motor is a small block, then I would say go with a C4 over a C6 as the C6 robs a lot of horsepower. If you're set on the C6, you'll need one to fit your block as there are 3 different bell housing bolt patterns (small block, FE big block, and 429/460). If it was me, I'd think about an AOD (still assuming it's a small block) if you like the idea of an overdrive for highway cruising. Be sure to look for an AOD and not the AODE (E for electronic overdrive). The AOD ended in early '92 I believe.
