tranny help needed...pic request

Can someone post a picture of the tranny cross member for a C6 transmission...I am going to have to locate one, I think.

i dont have a pic right now but i do have a crosmemeber if you want one. i can get a pic when i get it off the truck. do you want the front or back crossmember pic? the truck has both of them on it.

I think that I need the one that bolts to the rear of the transmission, but if you could get me a pic of both that would be great so I can determine what I have...Thanks!

i put them in my truck for the ride home but my brake caliper stuck and was getting the rotor hot so i left the truck at dads . and got a ride home 30 miles. i will get pics as soon as i can it looks like i have to spend abouty 100.00 to replace the caliper and the rotor has been warped since i got the truck back in 2001

here they are both the front and rear crossmembers for a 2wd. they are greasy i warn you of that. i just pulled them from the truck a few days ago.

Just for clarification, the rear one is the flatter one, right? It's the actual transmission crossmember. That other one is the front crossmember, correct?

yes i forgot to say thaty. the flat one is what the transmission moount hooks to the front one bolts to the frame and radius arm brackets. that why it is curved like that.

Soooo, the tranny does not actually bolt to the cross member???

I think that I have that rear cross member, just a bit uncertain here :?

the trans has a rubber and stell mount just like a engine block has on it. the mount bolts to the crossmember
