460 w/ c6 swap '72 F100 yoke choice

Post by sunkistmaniac »

I have a 460 in my '72 F100 long box. I am ready to lift in one of the many c6's I have now. I have the carrier bearing (two drive shafts that meet) and I am missing a transmission yoke from the old set-up. Will this tranny bolt right up with just any c6 yoke? Is there any modifications to the existing drive shaft length wise?

the c6 and np435 front drive shafts are the same lengths in a longbed. the longer driveshafts for the front half would be a three speed shaft. i dont know about other transmissions and the driveshaft lengths. which other yokes from which transmissions do you have?

I bought 3 transmissions (C6) and each of them do not have a yoke. I am in need of the right one for my application. inexpensive as possible. of course...thank you fordman!
