Opinions Please: 3 speed to C6 swap

Will swapping my three speed on the column transmission for a C6 using all date coded correct parts hurt the value of my truck? It is a 1968 f100. when I have completed the swap the only way to tell it is not factory original will be to decode the vin. I have collected all the correct parts, column, transmission, driveshaft, floor hump. Please feel free to give me your honest opinion, The truck will be a really nice driver for me to enjoy durning my retirement years.

Unless the truck is a super low mileage,few owner truck,maybe optioned nicely it wont hurt the value,it may add to it, being an automatic.Keep all the removed parts and pass them onto the next owner,so it could be returned to original.Good luck and enjoy driving it now.
