Post by dave g »

Hello every one i am new to the whole old truck thing so here's what i have. i just got a 1969 f100 w/ a rebuilt 302 and automatic c-4 trans. the color is lunar green and wimbledon white original paint. the motor has some work, edelbrock performer cam and lifters, carb w/ manual choke, timing chain, intake, air cleaner, and valve covers. it also has a b&m trans pak and z-gate shifter, dynomax headers, sun pro gauges and tach and a grant wheel. no dent no dings minor surface rust all body panels are in great shape not sure of the rear end its has been to cold here in Michigan to get under there and try to figure it out i will be posting pics probably later today. so i hope to become a good member on this forum just remember i don't know to much about old trucks so take it easy on me thanks !

Welcome from Okla and it sounds like you got a good start for a truck. We all had to start from scratch in learning about our trucks at one point in time so dont worry.

Welcome from Tennessee! Don't worry about knowing anything. I am on here to learn myself. This is the site to be on, very helpful and friendly. Show some pics of the truck when you get a chance.
