what 3 speed tranny will hook up to a 351 w engine i have a orion cast numbers are G2603000

One from a 302 will work. I think any 3.03 trans will work, if it is from an fe engine just change the bellhousing. The 240, 300, 302, 351w and 351cleveland have the same bellhousing.

The only 3.03 that to my knowledge won't work is one from a Y-Block.The input shaft is different.A T85N 3 speed overdrive will also work.

From what I have read, the transmission with Orion cast into the side is the 3 speed with overdrive, also called the toploader imposter. It is not a heavy duty tranny. Depending on how you plan to use the truck, it should work fine with the correct bellhousing behind a 351. If you have a lot of HP or plan to do heavy towing this transmission may not be the ideal choice.

I have a 3.03 3speed with orion on the side of it , it is out of a 76 f100. I'm not sure what orion means but it is also on the toploader imposter, i have one of those too. If anyone can tell us what orion is i would like to know
