rear bumper bracket question

I saw a '78 Bronco with a sport rear bumper at the local salvage yard and would like to know if the brackets will work on my '70 model Custom.

I believe they will fit. Someone on the forums (willowbilly?) mentioned that he's used them before. Of course, the bumper itself won't work, but the brackets should fit your truck and sport bumper.

well, I went back for the brackets off the Bronco. it turns out they were asking too much for them and they didn't even allow me to pull them myself. I'm going to a couple more yards tomorrow.

on what year trucks should I be looking for these brackets?
