Pilot bearing?
Is there a tool I could maybe rent from the local parts store to remove the clutch pilot bearing in my 67? If not what do ya guys recommend I do to get it out?

re: Pilot bearing?
Autozone has the tool and the slide hammer in their loaner tool program. However, you don't necessarily have to have a pilot bearing puller to get the the bushing out. Pack the pilot bearing hole with a heavy wheel-bearing grease, then take a bolt that is as tight to the ID of the bearing as possible, then drive the bolt into the greased up center of the bearing. The hydraulic pressure usually pushes them out, but if it doesn't come out the first time, repack the pilot bearing hole and repeat until the pilot bearing is free. The process is kinda messy, but it's free! Then just clean out all of the grease and install a new pilot bearing.

Grease method worked for me a few times so far. I used a wooded dowel.

Another vote for the grease method. My dad showed me that one when I was a kid.I use an old input shaft. It will R & R then bearing and align the disc.I like freebee tools.
