gear oil?

Got a 9" in my 67 and I just replaced gasket need to refill with gear oil. Any particular oil I should be looking for??

I would just go with a good 90 weight gear oil like vavoline or if you like go with a synthetic. I was thinking of going with the vavoline synthetic blend when i change out my thirdmember. :thup:

if you have a limited slip unit dont forget the friction modifier

If you have a LSD then 140lb w/ a friction modifier will not overheat the gease and blow it out the vent.
