A C6 came in our trucks. A C4 is more of a car trans. What engine do you got?

Be cool to find out.

A C6 would go behind it. A C6 is more of a truck trans.

you are right about that. it is a heavier duty type of trans. although i did read where the racers were using the c4 as a race trans.

Cool, but I bet its not stock. Its has to be built up some.

One way to try it and put it in and see what happens. Good deal.

you also have to watch out which tailhousing it has on it. if it has a long tailshaft it is for a car or slip joint driveshaft. if its short then its a truck or bolt on yoke type of tail housing. you need the one to match your drive shaft. or get your driveshaft remade. you may also have to shorten your shaft anyway depending on several things i dont know about your truck.
