Power Steering Cooler Question

Post by mrtleavitt »

My 69 F100 has one of those power steering coolers on it, the kind with the fins that is mounted on the A/C compressor or near it. I have another type of cooler, it is located down by the frame and it's a few zig zags that the line has been bent so air could flow by it. Hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about because that isn't a very good explaination. Anyways, my question is can I replace my finned cooler with the zig zag so my engine compartment would be less clustered?

That's exactly what I'm using with my '67. The style you're describing is a dentside-era cooler.
