returning to STRAIGHT?

Post by champdog »

I have a Bendix PS converson on my 68 f-100. Works well but for one thing. After you turn the the truck does not re center its self. I need to drive it back to center. Most vehicles return real close to center after you let go of the wheel. As any one heard of this before. Champdog

Hey champ,
Could be a number of things. If it was me I'd be sure the king pins are taking grease. jack it up and get the weight off the spindles , grease upper and lower both sides and turn it lock to lock and repeat. If this dosen't work you'll need to start looking elsewhere.
