trans ?
well I want to put a 302 out of a 94 bronco in my f 100 but thats not my question my question is can I make a c6 work with this engine since it is fuel injected. My main concern was the kickdown cable, would I hook it on to the trottle body or do I have to go with a newer trans that would have came with this engine. thanks in advance

Yes you can put the c6 in, but you may have to get a computer that came from a truck that had a manual trans, or there may be a chip you can change to make it compatible. As for as a kick down here is one that should work. You may have to get a new flexplate too.
I'm sure someone will chime in for more help and corrections,as i might have left something out.

All you need is a kickdown cable from an 87-90 something truck or van with a 5.0/5.8 and C-6. The kickdown cables are real rugged. I use them for throttle cables on my EFI swaps since the factory throttle cables are junk and expensive.
You do not need a manual computer. The manual/auto computers work the same, the auto computer is just tied in with the nuetral safety switch, easy to bypass.
