You mean you didn't weigh it before you got started?

There are too many variables. Ford will give you a basic weight, but AFAIK they didn't release any kind of bulletin which listed every possible engine/tranny package and option with their individual weights.

What kind of mods have you done? Maybe we can figure it out.

This may have little relevance but my f100 has a weight of 4610 as per the title info that came with it from Calif. Its a 360/C6. Tho I've tried like hell I couldnt get it on the bathroom scale :D to confirm this. OK OK, I'm not well....

I wouldn't think you've shed more than about 25-30 pounds with the installation of headers and a slightly-shortened exhaust, but I'd bet the auxiliary tank setup (you're talking about the in-frame 25-gallon setup, right?) would shed about 100 pounds. The skid plate alone on that weighs about 75 pounds, and I'd imagine the tank itself along with the straps and crossmember would come to 25.

I'm going to be getting started on a page for the website really soon with weights of various truck components, so in the future it'll be easier to figure this stuff out.

I got mine weighed at the transfur station (dump). The main one around here has a scale that they use to determine how much to charge you. They weigh you as you're going in and as you come out and have the #s printed on the reciept :D I cant remember the exact numbers but I want to say my truck was about 5000, or pretty close. Duel tanks, 390 with a NP435.

edit: wait scratch that. I've removed the in cab tank so I'm only running the Aux  duh

My '70 F100 w/ 3 speed weighed 4440 with my spare tire, emergency brake (landscaping block) and my pregnant wife in it. So if you take 30 lbs for the tire and 10 for the block and then 400 for my wife that would make it about 400o lbs

just kidding about the 400 lb wife she is really about 145 at 5 months pregnant.
