The C has a bellhousing cast into the tranny. The C4's had removable bellhousings. If yoy have an FE, you don't have a C4 unless a PO put it there.

Whoa that was quick, Thanks! Next thing I'd like to find out pertains to the water leak into the cab from rain running down into the cowl vents just below the windshield. I have the catalogs from MAC's and LMC. They have a cowl lacing kit. But would that take care of the leak assuming the metal is in good shape? Finally if that is the fix, where in the site would I get some info on what is involved in getting the lacing installed. Help... glub glub, from the Oregon coast.
