SUN VISORS HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought some visors from npd well the bad part is thay flop aroud like a dead chicken
. Thay dont stay up one just flips right down the other one is not as bad but it still wont work. Ive tryd tape on the arms still dont work its better not still not like thay need to be. I think its the tubeing in the visors them selfs. So what woud you all do? I have talkd to the npd guy and he went to the wherehouse him selfs and askd the guys and thay dont know whats wrong with them. I did get the door panels right thay just sent me the 250s and thay are good what the deal is with that there mag is wrong so ive got to call them and let pual know. any ways plz give me some ideas Thanks all for the help

I dont touch my visors cause i have them trained to stay up and if i touch them they try to fall for about 2 weeks

You could try getting some shrink tube from radio shack, the thin stuff, sized as small as you can get that will slide over the shaft of the visor support, then shrink it on to the shaft with a heat gun or propane torch. (Cut it to length and position so it wont show once its shoved into the visor)
It may add just enough diameter and friction to the shaft to hold the visor in place.
One other idea, if your old visors aren't torn or cracked, you could always paint them. Mine were old, white and dirty. I wanted them black and almost bought new, but I thought I would try fixing the old ones first. So I got a couple cans of Rustoleum vinyl paint and after about 20 light coats they came out looking like new. I was really amazed at how nice they came out. One little tip for those who try this, the little crimped on stainless pieces come off easy and then can be crimped back on after painting.
