clutch/brake pedal pivot bracket

Post by jguajardotx »

I am in the process of converting my '67 from a 3 on the tree to an automatic. I have the column and saginaw box already and I am in the process of removing the clutch/brake pedal pivot bracket. Basically I am trying to eliminate the clutch pedal. When I find a '68 - '72 donar, will the brake pedal pivot bracket bolt up to my '67? And will I run into any trouble with the pushrod considering I have no booster just a master clyinder?

The '68-'72 bracket will bolt right into your truck. I've got a '68 bracket in my '67.

A manual-brake master cylinder has the pushrod held on with a clip. When you go to install a power booster down the road, you'll simply remove the pushrod and bolt the MC to the booster. The booster will already have it's own built-in pushrod to the pedal.
