More Disk Brakes

Post by jschreiner »

Hey all, first off, GREAT STUFF HERE, thanks for it all. I put disk brakes on my 69 and have not added a proportioning valve. It stops much, much better now. When I add the proportioning valve do I need to remove the block valve or is it straight throught? thanks Jay

You don't absolutely HAVE to remove the drum-brake distribution block when you install a proportioning valve, but it would serve no purpose and would just complicate the brakeline plumbing. Just remove it.
