What style of tranny do I have?

Post by Jeffd836 »

I have a 1970 F250 with an automatic tranny and a 360 engine. How do I determine what kind of tranny I have, whether its a C4 or C6 etc...? :?

Just for those that don't know how to tell a C6 from a C4...

C6 is all one peice. The Bell is cast into the main body.

C4 are smaller and have removable bells
