4 wire tach wiring

help i bought tach but it did not come with instructs, green wire goes to somerwhere in engine bay red must be power, white ??? Black???ground??? and what does the green wire wire to? Help

Green, negative side of the coil; Red is a fused power source; Black, is ground; and White goes to the lighting circuit.

ok but under the dash what in the light switch plug is the dash lights?
and i checked my fuse box no male or femal openings next to the lamps.

I dont know which wire is the interior lights off the sitch, but I always use a fuse tap to come off the side of the cluster light fuse. This allows the wire to be fused by that fuse as wel as allowing for the light in the tach to dim and brighten with the cluster lights. I dont know if that helps or not, but I hope it does.

I usually just take some thin metal and cut a strip about 1/16" x 1/2". I bend it in a V and solder the wire to it. Then, remove the fuse, and put one of the leads in the V and push the fuse back in. Make sure you put the connection "after" the current passes through the fuse. If that didn't make sense, I can post a picture of it. Let me know.

for all intents and purposes lets have a look at the pick please i think you mean the passenger side of my fuse panel but i'm more visual than anything else thanks so far, how are you doing today?
