CAB to frame alignment.

Post by frisky »

I had my cab off to replace the two front cab mounts (metal) and have the DC rubbert and bolt kit to put it back on with. The heads up on the bolt problems helped be avoiding a big problem.

I am wondering if there is any trick to alignment of the cab to the frame before tighnening the bolts? There is a lot of play built into the system.

I dont know of a trick. I always thought you just measure off the frame and get it as close to right as possible, but I hope someone can give us all a trick to help make cab alignment easier.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~
