spring on the clutch

hi everyone just putting my motor back together and i notcied i have a sping that comes from where the pedial attaches to the motor to somewhere else..... where does the spring connect? i have it connected at one spot but i can't find the other spot

The spring goes from a bracket or hole in the frame rail to the clutch release arm.

The front part of the spring goes into a hole on the front crossmember (if it's a 2WD we're talking about here).
