Don't mean to bust yer chops but every Busch and Cup NASCAR has a 9" it running lotsa HP, lotsa MPH for many miles. The Ford 9" also has much more to offer in gear ratio options. You can change gear ratios in 40 minutes. Much easier to change gear ratios and it bolts right in.
I'm not saying in any way that the 9 inch is weak, or not worth the money. Performance can mean many things, especially in a truck. With any sort of weight behind it a 60 will hold up alot better than a 9 in. It is handy to be able to change ratios that quickly, but in reality most people just put one in, and leave it. All I was saying is that if I was going to pick for my self, I've had much better luck with Danas than 9 inchers, and with a semi-floating version, you can still get the 5 bolt lug pattern.
