A 9 inch is a fine rear end. Parts are plentiful, hard to go wrong there.

Ch**y guy at work uses 9 inchers on his race/performance stuff because of parts/labor simplicity.

Don't mean to bust yer chops but every Busch and Cup NASCAR has a 9" it running lotsa HP, lotsa MPH for many miles. The Ford 9" also has much more to offer in gear ratio options. You can change gear ratios in 40 minutes. Much easier to change gear ratios and it bolts right in.AustinTom wrote:If its a 1/2 ton, I'd go with a Dana 60 semi-floater.
