MSD Linked to Radio Problem??
Everything was fine with my radio until I added the MSD 6A to my system. Now only while the truck is running does the volume drop so I have to turn it up all the way just to hear a little. When the engine is shut off it goes back to normal again. What is the fix short of removing the MSD, which I won’t do since the performance increase has been really noticeable. New FMS crate motor 5.0 FI, AOD, JBA exhaust, etc.
A senior citizen still having fun but just getting slower.

re: MSD Linked to Radio Problem??
Electronic ignition will do that to your radio. Sometimes you'll hear the whining static noise. I know that Radio Shack carried/carries some noise filters that help eliminate that problem. They kind of look like condensors on a points ignition system. Also, if you've ever run stainless core spark plug wires, that'll do the same thing (make noise).

Does it have static or interfearance? or does it just not play loud enough?
What kind of Radio? Is the MSD connected as per the insructions (directly to the battery?)
You might contact MSD, if everything is connected properly it is possible the unit is defective in some way.
