Maybe a SM420. Your pic is really small. Does it have an aluminum top. Is that a PTO drive box on the back? Those came on the old scouts and jeeps. If it is them probably the tranny is a T14 or T15.
The Scouts came with a T18 and the T98, they don't have aluminum tops.

hard to tell from the pic but i think Keith is right as i had several bumps with that trans, mostly 4 speed slicks and 67-72 f100s.the later 67- up 250s all seemed to have the NP435s.

you can ford a river or stream and get to the other side, if you dodge it you will not, and if you drive a chevy to the levee it will run dry and the music will die.

Sure looks like a 435 w/D21 from the picture. T18/19 have an iron top. binder and jeep stuff typically had the mile long input shaft as I recall, looks like a ford/chevy/dodge input to me. Off the top of my head the NP435, NP445 and SM465 have the standard length input shaft and an aluminum top plate. If the t-case is a dana 21 you have a 110% or so certainty it's a Ford 435. I don't think the 21 was ever bolted to anything else.
