17x9's fit a '72 F250 2wd?

Post by Galaxie64 »

I just picked up a nice set of american eagles that are 17x9, they are for my '51 but it got me wondering if anyone has slapped anything that big on their 2wd F250's. I know there was a guy running new dodge SRT 20" rims but I don't know how wide they are.

My F150 has 17" rims so it would be nice to be able to use the takeoffs on the '72 and '51 too.

The Dodge 1500 series 20 inche wheels are 20x9 You mentioned SRT, those are 22x10. Both are 5x5.5 bolt patern. There is nothing bigger than 17x8 in a dodge 2500/3500 series.

I thought he had SRT10 rims maybe they weren't, either way I guess they were at least 9" wide. Plus it was on a half ton so maybe 9's will work on a 3/4 ton. I am getting my tires mounted next week I may pull a front off the '72 and see what it looks like.
