Was hoping somebody could tell me if anybody still makes or supplies front spindles for 70-72 F250 with factory disc brakes?
Alternately, it could reworked with a newer kingpin (?). But here's the deal - upon doing the 1st lube (just acquired the truck), I discovered that the bottom grease fitting is completely missing from that spindle. In fact, the screw in plug that is home to the fitting (covers bottom of kingpin) is gone and has been for quite some time judging from the caked-up gunge on the threads. When I was changing the pads, I was able to rock the whole spindle - so its definitely worn. I lubed it the best I could without pulling the spindle and of course at the time, I had no idea it'd be such a coveted part

I've looked at different online supplies, but no love so far.
Does anyone know if perhaps a later year part would fit? Are there different kingpin sizes, etc? Is the grease fitting 'plate' available somewhere?
Any ideas or suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks
