67 disc conv.??
i have a 79 donor 150 for my 67 f100 disc brake conversion. i am using a ps bendix box. will have have to use the pitman arm off the donor truck??

Yes i intend to use EVERYTHING off the donor truck i just got thrown off when i heard steer linkage. My main concerns is if the 79 f150 pitman arm will work with my bendix box? thank guys

Yes the pitman arm will work!
The steering linkage changed in 71 i believe the entire shape is different and the tierod ends are different sizes. So if you grab everythinhg off the donor truck you will be fine. Also grab the master cylinderthey are different from th edrum brake models also.

I wish I could get my hands on another used Bendix box, just so I can measure and compare....
...but I don't believe the Pitman arm for that box is the same as the Saginaw, which is the steering setup you'll be using if you use the donor truck's parts.

Well when i did my disc brake swap i used the pitman arm off of a saginaw box on my bendix box and everything works perfectly fine.

I have the Bendix power steering box on my 67 and have the disc brake set up from a 79 F-150 and have tried both the Bendix pitman arm and the Saginaw pitman arm on the Bendix box and have a problem with the steering box running out of travel before the spindle stops hit the I-beams. The spindle lacks about a 1/4 inch on the passenger side and about a 1/16 inch on the driver side from hitting the I-beam when the steering box is turned lock to lock. I think this could be a problem and I haven't decided what to do about it.
Any ideas?
