ok, I don't know if this is the right forum but here goes. I have a '70 Custom Styleside that has nonfunctioning reverse lights. the truck originaly had a 3speed, a T87G, according to my VIN tag. the previous owner swaped in a 4speed toploader shortly before I bought it from him.
My question is: where do I begin to trouble shoot. any suggestions and help will be highly appreciated.
thanks

re: reverse lights
Hi,
There should be a 2-prong connector on the tranny somewhere. Usually it's on the side, close to the top. Take a look and see if you can locate yours and verify that it is wired up.
When you put the tranny into reverse a small switch in the tranny is closed which completes a circuit turning on the reverse lights.
Good luck,
Lee
