drop i beams w/ disc brakes

when i get my drop i beam can i still use 73-79 disk brake? since the i beams are only 67-72...it would make since that i can...but i dunno might make 2 much sense thanks.....

Yes, but you will have to use the spindles from the '73-79. Have them pressed off the old I-beams and installed on the new ones. Make sure the king pin diameters match.

woudnt it be easier just to order the ibeams for a 73-79 f150...since your going to install the brakes anyways????

dang didn even think of that ....actually guess that would work wouldnt it? id be using 73-79 i beams for the swap so just but the drop 73-79...DUH im just glad there is smarter people than me out there....
