Would a 71 f100 360 have a c-4?

Post by xMAJORx »

I have a cherry 71 f100 sc with a 360 (that just blew) I wanna put in a 390. Would this truck have a little c-4 in it with a 360? It's 100% original. I don't think a c-4 could handle a cammed 390.

Im at work and I can't look at the pan right now.

No, AFAIK Ford never put a C4 behind a big-block for any application. You could get a C6 behind a small-block, but not vice-versa.

A C4 wouldn't last an hour behind a 360

Properly built, it wil outlive the truck!
C-4's are popular among racer's. Built right, they are buletproof.
