302 transmission

Post by 67stepside »

I need to know what automatic transmissions will fit a 88 302 out of a Lincoln Continental. Also any tips on transplanting it into a 67 f100. any info would be appreciated.

Well I would highly suggest the AOD because of it's overdrive but the C4 would hold up strong also but without overdrive so it's a matter of preference. Thes trucks came with the 302 so find the perches to mount into the frame and snag the transmission crossmember to hold your tranny. It's a pretty straight forward job if you ask me.
