MT shift knob
Anybody ever see one that looks like this?
1 3 R
l___l__l
l l
2 4
Well, it looks correct when I type it, but it doesn't come out right when I submit. You do get the idea, Right?
Nobody can figure out how to make my truck go backwards. Maybe it's a good anti-theft device? I also have to remember not to shift into 5th gear!

might not be the right shift knob.
you either have a
NP435 (reverse is to the right and down)
or T-18 (reverse is to the right and up) (Like your knob says)
Kinda doubt you have a 5 speed in there!
I installed a engine/tranny combo in an old crew cab I had , and kept having to pull the shift tower off to get it into reverse. Took me forever to figure out that I inadvertantly swapped in a T-18 and reverse was the other way!

In life many men take the path of righteousness, some take the path many others follow (G.M. owners, for example), some take a more arduous path, some a simpler path. I, sir, took the PSYCO-PATH!!

I have one. I got it at an impound yard. It's not pretty. Has that
