ive been having a leak in my fmx and couldnt find it got ready to pull it and found a bolt missing that holds the braket for the vent tube that bolt hole leads into the cast iron housing all the fluid was comming from there just thought this info may help someone else someday

I think us fmx'ers are dying off. I guess if I had the cash and the time I'd get a C6 and have gear vendors overdrive installed on it. So far I have had no trouble other than a leaky front pump seal with mine and will drive it till it dies - which may be sooner now that my 302 is getting pumped up.

If you or anybody else is ever interested I've got a mess of pictures from mine which is currently on the garage floor waiting for the engine to get done.

after my FMX goes out in my truck, i'm going to convert it to manual transmission.
69 F100 81' 302 / 73' fmx
