Disc Conversion

Post by benm78 »

I got my I-beams, spindles, brakes and valve off of a 73 donor truck this evening to eventually go onto my 68 F100.

These things look like hell, caked with grease and very rusty.

Before I get into the degreasing, I am a bit concerned that the disc brakes and new spindles will push the front wheels out, widening the track. I have minimal clearance right now between my tires and the fenders while turning (20" x 10" wheels), anyone know if the disc brakes will cause the tires to get shifted out?

Thanks,
Ben

Don't worry about it. The 73-79 f-100/150 trucks had the exact same frame dementions from the front so it's going to fit like it was ment for it
