Dana 70 Axle Flange Studs

Post by kid »

The guy that had this truck before me was a real Mickey Mouser. I found 3 broken studs in the real Axle hub to hold the axle flange on.

Anybody know where I can get the studs and narrow profile nuts and washers?

First place I would check would be a suspension shop.

Ford dropped the Dana 70 more than 7 years ago and carry no small parts for them anymore. There are the 8 studs in the rear axle hubs that retain the full floating axles. Ford had a falling out with Dana and quit using Dana-Spicer parts of any kind even on the L and N series. They can't sell me the right size in length.
